Loading Dock Security

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, guests, and vehicles to maintain premises security.
• Verify credentials for tour personnel, venue staff, and non-credentialed guests.
• Strategically organize and place authorized trucks, buses, and other vehicles within the loading dock.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles from entering restricted areas.
• Patrol premises to detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, gates, and venue property.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities and authorized persons entering or exiting the area.
• Uphold Live Nation back-of-house security protocols with all crew and guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8-10 hour shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain full attention on post without the use of electronic devices or other distractions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• Strong working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures in a business environment.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise acute judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
