Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, receiving, and product selection
• Load product onto trucks according to mapping and special instructions to ensure load stability and driver safety
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or quality issues and report findings to supervisors
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and orderly manner
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas, travel aisles, and warehouse locations
• Use warehouse computers and RF equipment to accurately record item information and LPNs
• Adhere to all food safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company safety rules to prevent accidents

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass a functional capacity test
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Certification on material handling equipment (MHE) required, or the ability to become certified
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Six months of previous warehouse experience or training
• Prior experience with Material Handling Equipment, specifically reach trucks (Crown or Raymond)
