Loader Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders to feed the fixed crushing circuit safely and efficiently
• Maintain consistent material feed to the crusher to support production targets and plant stability
• Load road trains and stockpiles in accordance with site procedures and product specifications
• Conduct routine pre-start checks and basic operator inspections on mobile equipment
• Work closely with crusher operators and maintenance personnel to optimise plant performance
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping around stockpiles, ROM areas, and loading zones

Requirements

• Proven experience operating wheel loaders in a mining environment
• Competent operation of Komatsu WA600 or similar class loaders (e.g., CAT 992, CAT 988)
• Current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement)

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in a fixed plant crushing or bulk materials handling operation
• Experience feeding crushing circuits and maintaining consistent plant feed
