About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate a loader safely and efficiently
- Load and unload raw materials in different departments
- Complete and provide weight reports to relevant personnel
- Notify supervisor of any material non-conformities
- Inspect machinery at the beginning and end of the shift
- Feed the production line
- Ensure machinery is functioning properly and report anomalies
- Complete a daily activity report
Requirements
- DEP in heavy machinery operation or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid competency card for operating heavy machinery
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Safety-conscious and committed to health and safety standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
