Valid Class 5 driver’s license, One year heavy machinery experience, Strong organizational skills, Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures
About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform all handling required for preparing vehicle carcasses
- Operate and maneuver a loader
- Operate the crusher to compact and crush vehicles
- Load crushed vehicles onto trucks
- Maintain accurate records and complete daily activity reports
- Work safely and comply with health and safety policies
- Perform pre-use inspections of all equipment
- Monitor machinery to ensure proper operation
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- At least one year of experience operating heavy machinery
- Autonomous and resourceful
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively assess surroundings
- Strong customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational diploma in heavy equipment operation
- Class 1 driver’s license
