About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive and maneuver a loader
- Load vehicles into the press using the loader
- Operate the press to crush vehicles
- Drive company vehicles to client sites
- Comply with the Highway Safety Code
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment
- Perform pre-use equipment inspections
- Maintain daily activity logs and reports
- Monitor machinery functionality
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- One year of heavy machinery operation experience
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Strong organizational skills
- Vigilance and environmental awareness
- Customer service aptitude
Preferred Qualifications
- DEP in construction equipment operation
- Class 1 driver's license
