LMI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform riding engineer duties to ensure continued aircraft airworthiness and operational reliability.
• Support Line Maintenance operations across outstations and Abu Dhabi, ensuring full authorization coverage and regulatory compliance.
• Execute aircraft maintenance activities in strict accordance with approved documents, company policies, and UAE GCAA regulations.
• Apply technical judgment to resolve defects effectively during line operations and riding duties.
• Maintain aircraft exterior and interior cabin standards in line with Etihad Airways’ brand expectations.
• Proactively manage valid licenses, approvals, and authorizations, communicating renewal requirements well in advance.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture through professional conduct and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in a Line Maintenance environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of line maintenance and defect rectification.
• Regulatory awareness of UAE GCAA requirements.
• Ability to work independently in an international operational environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with operational stakeholders.
