Live-In Home Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous support for non-medical needs following an established Plan of Care
• Assist with activities of daily living including supervising, feeding, and dressing
• Perform personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and grooming
• Offer respite care for families and specialized support for dementia clients
• Manage household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Monitor medications and document care notes accurately
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with grocery shopping

Requirements

• Ability to live in a client's home for minimum 2-week shift rotations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach
