Live Haul Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to transport chickens from broiler farms to processing plants
• Pick up chickens at designated farms and deliver them to live haul
• Maintain accurate truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• Bind and unbind cages as required
• Comply with all DOT and State driver training and documentation requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of verifiable driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to calculate hours of service and complete log book pages
