Live Event Producer

FloSports is the leading digital platform for underserved sports, combining live and on-demand streaming, original programming, data, and technology to help sports grow their audiences and build sustainable businesses. Flo streams more than 50,000 live events annually across various sports disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly (up to 80%) to produce broadcasts for various sporting events.
• Coordinate broadcast needs with internal departments and external partners.
• Manage production team personnel including directors, talent, editors, and graphics designers.
• Develop rundowns, tech books, and event documentation.
• Organize efficient technical setup, tear down, and inventory checks.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and production problems logically and efficiently.
• Manage production planning details through task trackers and schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing events in a live streaming or broadcast environment.
• Familiarity with on-site, remote, and cloud-based production models.
• Experience with storytelling, editing, shooting, lighting, and audio.
• Proficiency with software-based production tools like OBS, vMix, and Blackmagic ATEM.
• Familiarity with prosumer cameras (Panasonic CX series, PTZ) and fiber optic connectivity.
• Ability to travel up to 80% including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with broadcast graphics systems (Singular Live, Ross Expression, Chyron, etc.).
• Experience with Google Sheets or Excel for data integration with graphics systems.
