Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for admissions, and subpoenas
• Prepare deposition binders and hearing binders
• Manage trial preparation including witness coordination, travel, exhibits, and trial notebooks
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and billings
• Calculate damages including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage
• Maintain routine communication with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status

Requirements

• Paralegal certification
• 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
• Experience with civil litigation (state and federal deadlines and rules)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to work from the office 3 days a week in Bryn Mawr, PA
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with litigation in the state of Pennsylvania
