Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Oversee post-litigation processes for approximately 30 active cases, focusing on personal injury and business litigation
• Draft and file essential litigation documents including complaints, answers, interrogatories, discovery requests, and demand letters
• Engage proactively with clients for status updates and scheduling
• Maintain and organize litigation files, including medical records, police reports, and agreements
• Assist attorneys in meeting deadlines, preparing briefs, and prioritizing tasks
• Leverage AI tools like EvenUp for timelines and drafting assistance
• Collaborate with attorneys and case staff to ensure cohesive case management

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Ability to manage cases independently
• Proven ability to draft standard litigation pleadings and responses
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Comfort with AI tools and legal case management software
