Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop foreign paralegal staff to ensure quality and efficiency
• Independently propound and respond to discovery requests without templates
• Prepare precise jury charges to identify critical elements for case outcomes
• Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings, and complaints for state and federal courts
• Review and analyze discovery records and draft motions to compel
• Monitor and adhere to all court deadlines and statutes
• Assemble comprehensive trial binders and prepare materials for court proceedings
• Draft legal motions applying in-depth analysis and clear articulation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in Texas Plaintiff's Personal Injury Law
• Substantial exposure to complex litigation
• Ability to independently draft discovery and develop legal strategies from scratch
• Proficiency in crafting jury charges and aligning petitions with case elements
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior and foreign paralegals
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
