Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct a range of litigation matters, including product and premises liability, employment, and general civil and class action litigation
• Supervise litigation strategy, budgets, and case timelines
• Participate in all aspects of case management, including responding to pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing witnesses, and attending trial
• Conduct internal investigations and fact-finding in connection with disputes and pre-litigation matters
• Draft and review settlement agreements and other litigation-related documents
• Oversee regulatory inquiries and government investigations as needed
• Advise on risk-mitigation strategies and initiatives

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in Wisconsin
• 2+ years of litigation experience, either at a law firm or in-house
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product liability and employment matters
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets
• Familiarity with cycling industry products, safety standards, or CPSC regulatory matters
