Litigation Associate

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of litigation including preparation of pleadings and written discovery
• Manage document productions and take/defend depositions
• Communicate with counsel and the court
• Draft and argue discovery and dispositive motions
• Assist with trial preparation
• Develop and implement effective strategies for clients in multi-faceted litigation

Requirements

• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• Background in product liability, toxic torts, consumer health, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices
• Admission to the New York Bar
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience practicing before courts in the State of New York

Preferred Qualifications

• Federal court experience
