Requirements
PSIRA grade A qualification, 2 years control center experience, 2 years Listener Operator experience, Reside in Somerset-West or Strand, Excellent communication skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor alarm systems and respond swiftly to triggered alarms
- Contact emergency medical services (EMS) or relevant emergency providers as needed
- Coordinate with security personnel and emergency responders during alarm activations
- Monitor and track vehicle movements using Webfleet and Fleetcam
- Provide specialized monitoring and protection for high-profile residents and assets
- Respond promptly to security alerts and maintain detailed incident logs
- Conduct regular checks on surveillance equipment and alarm systems
- Generate detailed reports for management summarizing daily activities
Requirements
- Minimum PSIRA grade A security qualification
- 2 years of control center experience
- 2 years of Listener Operator experience
- Excellent communication abilities under pressure
- Ability to make split-second decisions
- Must reside in Somerset-West or Strand area or be willing to relocate
- Sober habits
