About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the group's comprehensive governance, communication, and response strategy for regulatory, supervisory, and internal oversight matters
- Lead gap assessments against regulatory expectations including Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, and SR 12-7
- Advise on and evolve internal policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Track, manage, and respond to internal and external regulatory, compliance, risk, and audit inquiries
- Ensure all policies, controls, and procedures are strictly adhered to and properly documented
- Support the execution of the Material Liquidity Risk Identification and New Business Product Review process
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, effective controls, and self-detection/remediation
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
- Specific expertise in Liquidity Management
- Strong knowledge of the banking regulatory environment (Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, SR 12-7, etc.)
- Extensive experience working with US regulators, particularly within the liquidity space
- Strong organizational, project management, and written/verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in a related field
- CFA or FRM certification
