About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead Vertiv’s liquid cooling fluid management services, focusing on direct-to-chip service and project support business operations.
- Establish, implement, and document repeatable processes and best practices for the service and maintenance of liquid cooling systems.
- Create service and delivery scopes of work in collaboration with technical and service sales teams.
- Partner with water treatment suppliers to gather remediation instructions and develop detailed pricing proposals using direct labor costing.
- Interface with field labor teams to ensure effective implementation of fluid treatments based on chemical supplier instructions.
- Evaluate alternative delivery methods and coordinate with Engineering, Offering, and Field Execution teams to drive customer satisfaction.
- Support liquid cooling program reporting and customer KPIs, documenting remediation efforts and escalating technical issues.
- Manage complex mechanical and electrical project execution and resolve technical or process-related issues promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent field services experience.
- 5+ years of experience in service or installation management.
- Expertise in critical infrastructure, specifically with thermal cooling systems and monitoring.
- Proven ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and project scope documents.
- Strong experience executing complex mechanical and electrical projects or service programs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage remote technicians or contractors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of chemical systems and fluid remediation.
- Experience with data center infrastructure and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of construction and mechanical systems.
