Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain workstations on trading floors and in offices
• Install servers and networking appliances in data centers, with domestic and international travel as required
• Perform hardware maintenance and support large-scale build-outs
• Deploy office appliances such as printers, phones, and televisions
• Support users across the organization and perform hands-on datacenter work including racking and stacking

Requirements

• Fluency in Linux administration; Debian/Ubuntu experience preferred
• Experience with BIND, Ansible, Linux KVM, and Zabbix
• Scripting ability in bash and python preferred; SQL and Perl a plus
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools including 2FA, iptables rulesets, fail2ban, and Malwarebytes
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50lbs
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle frequent context switches
