Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install workstations on trading floors and in offices
• Install servers and networking appliances in data centers
• Perform hardware maintenance
• Manage large-scale build-outs, including domestic and international travel
• Install office appliances such as printers, phones, and televisions

Requirements

• Fluency in Linux administration
• Experience with BIND, Ansible, Linux KVM, and Zabbix
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools including 2FA, iptable rulesets, Malwarebytes, and fail2ban
• Ability to move and install equipment weighing up to 50lbs
• Comfort with hands-on work and racking/stacking in datacenters
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle frequent context switches

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Debian/Ubuntu
• Scripting experience in Bash and Python
• Knowledge of SQL and Perl
• Windows administration skills
