Responsibilities

• Manage and scale digital products and platforms within an omnichannel retail environment.
• Perform Linux/Unix administration across various distributions including RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, OEL, and IBM AIX.
• Manage storage and filesystems using LVM, XFS, EXT3/EXT4, and JFS.
• Handle package management using YUM, DNF, RPM, and APT.
• Utilize shell scripting (Bash/Korn Shell) to automate tasks.
• Monitor system performance and conduct diagnostics using tools such as top, vmstat, iostat, sar, ps, netstat, ss, and lsof.
• Execute troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and log analysis to resolve system issues.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of hands-on Unix/Linux administration experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an L2 Production Support role.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise environments with 500+ servers.
• Experience working in 24x7 enterprise support environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and NTP.
