Linux Operations

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Linux operations including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
• Operate and maintain KVM / Proxmox virtualization platforms ensuring high availability
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters in production
• Manage and support Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat) and related application services
• Administer DNS services and Mail Servers (Postfix or other SMTP servers)
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions
• Implement and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures

Requirements

• Engineering Graduate (BE / BTech or equivalent)
• RHCE or equivalent Linux certification
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Linux system operations (RHEL / CentOS / AlmaLinux / Ubuntu)
• Strong operational experience with KVM-based virtualization and Proxmox VE
• Practical experience operating Kubernetes environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, virtualization, containers, and applications
• Experience with Apache / Tomcat, DNS, and Postfix or SMTP servers
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Working knowledge of backup, restore, and DR in virtualized environments
• Familiarity with shell scripting for operational automation
