Linux Engineer Level 3

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance critical Linux environments to ensure system reliability and scalability
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead high-impact infrastructure projects
• Optimize performance, security, and configuration of Linux-based systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical services and project teams to deliver new services and upgrades
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members
• Act as an escalation point for incident and problem resolution
• Drive continuous service improvements and ensure alignment with industry best practices

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems, specifically RHEL
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Linux servers
• Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Proficiency in scripting and programming using Python or similar languages
• Foundational knowledge in VMware, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and storage solutions
• Proven ability to manage server, storage, and virtualization environments

Preferred Qualifications

• RedHat certifications such as RHCSA or RHCE
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification
• Experience with Service Design, Architecture, and Quality Assurance
