Linux-Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Support cloud-based and hybrid environments using AWS services and Kubernetes platforms
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance and uptime
• Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using scripting and configuration management tools
• Apply cybersecurity best practices across systems and applications
• Create documentation and support smooth handoff to operations teams

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI/Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience working with Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS)
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python and/or Bash)
• Understanding of networking and security fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience deploying applications using Helm
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus or the ELK Stack
• Experience with configuration management or infrastructure automation tools (Terraform)
• Familiarity with DoD or regulated cybersecurity environments (RMF, STIGs, NIST)
