About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Linux administration for both physical and virtual servers
- Perform OS installation, performance monitoring, kernel tuning, and LVM management
- Handle critical incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Manage user service requests and alert management
- Install and configure Pacemaker based high availability clusters
- Manage shared storage, multipathing, and repository creation
- Execute OS upgrades and patch management
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Linux Administration
- Experience with shell scripting or Ansible configuration management
- Proficiency in troubleshooting common cluster issues
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience automating tasks using Shell Scripts or Ansible
- Understanding of VMware or Openstack
- RHEL / Redhat Certified Specialist certification
