Linux Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2–3 support for Linux OS configuration, file systems, and system troubleshooting
• Manage provisioning of Linux servers and VMs, specifically RHEL 8/9
• Administer and support the OpenShift container platform and Red Hat Satellite
• Develop and maintain automation using Red Hat Ansible Platform
• Manage reverse proxy platforms for on-premises and Cloud (AWS) environments
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with ITIL processes
• Support authentication systems including SAML/OIDC, ADFS, and Azure Entra ID

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience managing Unix/Linux systems in large-scale environments
• Strong expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8/9
• Experience with Java/Nginx application servers
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
• Knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of networking (IPv4, DNS, Firewall, Routing, DMZ)

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, Kubernetes, Ansible, or ITIL
• Experience with Nutanix virtualization
• Knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
• Experience with ELK Stack and messaging systems like Artemis MQ
