Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair overhead power lines ranging from 132kv to 400kv
• Work at heights and in various weather conditions to complete tasks safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless project execution
• Perform tower steelwork assembly and erecting including temporary mast
• Execute conductor replacement including full tension stringing

Requirements

• Proven experience working with 132kV to 400kV overhead lines and lattice towers
• Experience in the construction industry or outdoor environments
• Proficiency in operating specialist OHL Plant and Equipment
• Experience with Catenary Aerial Support System (CASS) and fibre optic wrap work
• Experience with temporary mast and steel/tower erection using self-supporting Derrick
• Training courses for operation of plant and machinery
• Basic skills in English and Mathematics
• Full clean driving licence
• Ability to pass Medical / Drugs and alcohol test
• SHEA Power Utility Health and Safety Awareness Passport
• BESC OHL
