Linebacker Coach

Responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, and lead student-athletes within the football program
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, and high performance
• Report directly to the Head Football Coach regarding linebacker development and success
• Collaborate with coaching staff and university departments to ensure alignment with institutional goals and NCAA regulations
• Support recruitment efforts and promote the football program within the community
• Uphold the University’s mission and values while supporting the academic and personal growth of student-athletes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and coaching experience
• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance standards
• Strong recruitment, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment involving travel and non-traditional work hours
• Valid driver's license preferred

• Master's degree
