Line Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery to achieve maximum efficiency and output
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electronic, and process-related problems
• Perform Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) to prolong equipment lifespan
• Comply with all food safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards
• Maintain a clean working environment, including machine interiors and surrounding areas
• Document information accurately in checksheets, AIMS, or other required systems
• Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to inspect parts

Requirements

• Vocational Certificate, STPM, or A-level (Diploma preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience (for Certificate holders) or 3 years (for Diploma holders)
• Proficiency in both Malay and English (verbal and written)
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to software like SAP and SuccessFactors
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production lines, and equipment setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with training cycles, methodologies, and training systems
• Experience in training administration
