Line Producer

Responsibilities

• Pitch and execute innovative ideas for show segments, teases, and graphics
• Manage story placement, writing, and all editorial and production elements
• Time the show in the control room and communicate effectively with hosts and directors
• Monitor multiple sources for breaking news developments to keep the team informed
• Oversee and rewrite copy while producing compelling segments
• Collaborate with Executive Producers, Senior Producers, and production staff
• Contribute to editorial planning and mentor new staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in line producing and control room operations within national news
• Proficiency with iNews, DALET, and VIZ
• Strong knowledge of news, politics, and current events
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills
• Ability to work under pressure, remain decisive, and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work an onsite schedule from Wednesday through Sunday
