Line Operator Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild production equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections of in-process materials and finished products
• Maintain required hand tools and replenish supplies, materials, and parts for the assigned area
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety practices, and plant directives
• Perform record-keeping duties and communicate pertinent information to the next shift
• Rotate through workstations and assist with housekeeping, painting, and cleanup duties as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations
• Computer literacy and ability to operate functional computer systems
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), Monday through Sunday, including overtime and on-call as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Education related to industrial mechanics
