Line Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available for operation
• Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed to maintain flow
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment loads, material weights, and production speeds
• Perform regular checks and preventative maintenance on machinery and components
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or issues to the production supervisor
• Follow quality service standards and comply with all safety guidelines and protocols
• Carry out quality assurance tests to ensure product consistency
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by upholding cleanliness and sanitation regulations
• Record operational and production data for quality control and future reference
• Cooperate with team members to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a line operator
• Extensive knowledge of operating procedures for production machinery
• Proficiency in adhering to health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of quality control and basic maintenance procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks
• Ability to keep disciplined records of production, service times, and resources
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
