Line Operator

Responsibilities

• Physically operate an extrusion line to ensure products are produced without defects and within manufacturing tolerances
• Monitor operating parameters of extruders and make necessary adjustments to die, water, or vacuum systems
• Perform on-line quality control, ensuring pipe dimensions and print lines meet specifications
• Document all product dimensions on production reports accurately and timely
• Perform setup and changeovers for production lines, including SDR and size changes
• Stack and bundle finished products and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Comply with and promote all company safety policies

Requirements

• Competency in reading, writing, and mathematics
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, and vacuum/chiller systems
• Valid forklift/lift truck license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, dust, and noise
• One year of manufacturing production experience is preferred

• Starting pay of $17.50/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift differential
