About the role
Responsibilities
- Physically operate an extrusion line to ensure products are produced without defects and within manufacturing tolerances
- Monitor operating parameters of extruders and make necessary adjustments to die, water, or vacuum systems
- Perform on-line quality control and ensure pipe dimensions (wall thickness, diameter, length) meet specifications
- Document all product dimensions on production reports in a neat, accurate, and timely format
- Perform setup and changeovers for production lines, including SDR and size changes
- Stack and bundle finished products and maintain a clean, organized working environment
- Comply with and promote all company safety policies
Requirements
- Competency in reading, writing, and mathematics (testing required)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid forklift/lift truck license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to work a night rotation schedule (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM) on a bi-weekly 2-2-3 rotation
- Must be available for a 3-week training period (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM)

- One year of manufacturing production experience
