About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform operation, maintenance, and construction of overhead and underground electric systems
- Diagnose and correct problems related to the overhead electric system
- Ensure the safety of self, coworkers, the general public, and company property
- Respond to emergency calls outside of regular hours, including 24/7 availability in all weather conditions
- Function effectively in a team environment and interact professionally with customers and agencies
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience in overhead electric construction and maintenance, or completion of a formal training program
- Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL or other required certifications
- Physical ability to perform all job requirements and execute manual labor
- Basic computer skills and the ability to pass required job tests and licensing exams
