Line Maintenance Technician II & III

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute necessary maintenance actions to ensure optimal operational and productive conditions of manufacturing equipment
• Supervise the proper functioning and optimal appearance of production equipment
• Execute preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is always in adequate operating condition
• Perform timely corrective maintenance and provide technical support to area operators
• Follow established Quality System procedures, including documentation of maintenance activities and regulatory audits
• Apply root cause analysis to downtime caused by equipment malfunction to support continuous improvement
• Support engineering activities related to product and process transfers between facilities
• Assist with the installation, validation, and operation of production equipment and processes
• Maintain organized and clean work areas and workshops at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical education in electromechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, electricity, or at least 50% progress in a related university degree
• 4 years of technical experience in a related position
• Knowledge of pneumatics and automation
• English language proficiency (level 30-50%)
• Availability to work flexible day or night shifts
• Ability to undergo defined training at the Heredia plant (position is based in Coyol)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Windchill, SAP, or BMRAM
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in electrical control and PLC
