Line Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 3–10 operatives to meet daily production targets
• Support and actively participate in production activities within a chilled food environment
• Maximise efficiency across time, labour, and equipment
• Complete production checks to ensure product quality meets specifications
• Maintain traceability, hygiene, GMP, and safety standards
• Monitor waste and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate issues and manage machinery faults
• Assist with training, development, and team cover during absences

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Line Leader or Senior Operative
• Background in production, ideally within chilled or food manufacturing environments
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
• Good organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement

• Salary: £33,437.64 per annum
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 06:00am-14:00pm
