Line Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of 3–10 operatives to meet daily production targets
• Support and actively participate in production activities
• Maximise efficiency across time, labour, and equipment
• Complete production checks and ensure product quality meets specifications
• Maintain traceability, hygiene, GMP, and safety standards
• Monitor waste and drive continuous improvement
• Communicate issues and manage machinery faults
• Assist with training, development, and cover during absence/holidays
• Move pallets and support varied line work as required

Requirements

• Previous Line Leader or Senior Operative experience
• Background in production, ideally within chilled or food environments
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting
• Good organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
