Line Leader

Responsibilities

• Accountable for achieving key operational and functional goals related to Safety, Quality, and Delivery of the production line.
• Mentor line associates to enhance capabilities and support an Equipment Owner (EO) mentality.
• Analyze losses, establish line priorities, and identify key areas of focus in alignment with manufacturing unit priorities.
• Lead Tier 1 production meetings and ensure alignment of the entire Line Centric Organization (LCO) team.
• Oversee daily CILT (Pit Stops) and update daily targets on the Primary Visual Display (PVD).
• Conduct timely root cause analysis and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Spend approximately 65% of time on the production floor overseeing line activities.
• Support the creation of new work instructions, standards, centerlines, and CILTs to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in a highly automated environment with leadership experience, OR
• Associate Degree (complete or in-process) with 5+ years of experience in a highly automated environment with leadership experience.
• Proven experience in leadership roles within automated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience with 5S methodologies and conducting Tier meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 3 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment.
• MA/MS degree with 1 year of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment.
