About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage line scheduling and changeover coordination
- Adjust line sequencing based on visual controls, schedule, and Kanban
- Assign operators based on sequencing and part-specific needs to maximize efficiency
- Complete part production labeling, data input, and reporting requirements
- Monitor and communicate hour-by-hour line performance
- Ensure safety, 6S, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate material availability and machine operator assignments
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) continuous improvement programs
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous production line experience
- Proficiency with Oracle job data and labeling transactions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform medium work (lifting up to 50 lbs)
