About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines
- Support buffet and à la carte service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Execute daily prep work including chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients
- Assist with catering functions, special events, and other assigned kitchen duties
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Understanding of basic kitchen equipment and food safety protocols
- ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain it upon hire
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Commitment to maintaining uniform, hygiene, and PPE standards
