About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality of culinary services for guests
- Prepare food quickly, safely, and efficiently according to standards
- Follow portion control procedures to minimize waste
- Utilize technology to recognize and complete food ticket orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and labeling
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
- Assist with dishwashing and food prep duties as needed
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Manage trash removal and compactor operation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
