About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality seasonal menus using the finest local ingredients
- Execute dishes across various kitchen stations including Grill, Sauté, Pizza oven, and Garde manger
- Follow and execute complex recipes with precision and consistency
- Maintain an organized workspace and demonstrate strong self-starter initiative
- Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and station management
- Strong, precise knife skills
- Ability to work in a continuously standing position for five or more hours
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending or stooping
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fine dining environment
