Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize the preparation of food items according to standardized recipes
• Manage specific kitchen stations and ensure proper portion sizes and presentation
• Coordinate food preparation with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards, including cleaning equipment and work areas
• Perform food spoilage inspections and ensure proper rotation of ingredients
• Execute opening and closing duties, including station setup and breakdown
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment by keeping floors and surfaces clear

Requirements

• Knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations and restaurant environments
• Proficiency in using various kitchen equipment and performing prep work
• Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation, food safety, and rotation protocols
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and plate presentation guidelines
• Ability to maintain pace and quality in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 150 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
• Previous experience working in a live music or entertainment venue environment
