Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Manage specific kitchen stations including grill, fry, or expediting
• Prepare and set up stations for service, ensuring appropriate stock levels
• Follow recipes accurately to maintain consistency in quality, presentation, and portion
• Cook menu items efficiently and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely service
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
• Properly store, label, and manage inventory of food items and prep materials
• Assist in large-scale food preparation and recipe development
• Communicate effectively with the head chef and front-of-house staff regarding orders and allergens
• Perform nightly kitchen breakdown and cleaning duties

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of 1 year of professional culinary experience in a similar role
• Experience with food prep and cooking for large-scale catering events
• Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday, 11am–8pm)
• Valid Food Handler's certification required prior to start date
• Ability to stand, walk, and be on your feet for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
