About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and service of all food items for a la carte and buffet menus
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Maintain full knowledge of menu items, daily features, and promotions
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies regarding food and beverage handling
- Support fellow colleagues with professional and proactive service
Requirements
- Previous experience in the culinary field
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand and walk constantly throughout a shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Certification in a culinary discipline
