Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Provide high level culinary customer service and promote a fine dining experience
• Maintain kitchen, food storage, and preparation areas in a clean and sanitary condition
• Responsible for opening and closing the kitchen
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and approved menus
• Document food and refrigeration temperatures
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
• Estimate food and supply needs and communicate with leadership

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a cook in hospitality or healthcare
• Valid food handlers permit
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production guides
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong relationship building skills with residents and team members
