Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare components of all menu items following company recipes and yield guides
• Execute various preparation methods including scratch sauces, vinaigrettes, purees, and soups
• Flexibly move between all line stations including Sauté, Grill, Pantry, and Fry Station
• Maintain high standards by ensuring food is high quality, timely, and served simultaneously
• Ensure kitchen, prep, and storage areas meet all sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Manage station stock through accurate labeling and proper rotation (FIFO)
• Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and working condition of all tools and equipment
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a high-energy work environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of restaurant experience working in a professional kitchen
• Non-expired Food Handlers Certification
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for an entire work shift
• Open availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong accuracy and speed in executing assigned culinary tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fine dining establishment or high-volume restaurant
• Degree from a culinary school or food service program
