About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare components of all menu items following company recipes and yield guides
  • Execute various preparation methods including scratch sauces, vinaigrettes, purees, and soups
  • Flexibly move between line stations including Sauté, Grill, Pantry, and Fry Station
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and timely service
  • Ensure kitchen, prep, and storage areas meet all sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage station inventory using proper labeling and rotation (FIFO) practices
  • Maintain cleanliness and inspect the working condition of all tools and equipment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of restaurant experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Non-expired Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work PM dinner service shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism in a high-energy environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments
  • Degree from a culinary school or food service program
