Line Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes and standards
• Support daily meal service for large volumes of guests in a high-volume environment
• Assist with food preparation across various kitchen stations including hot line, cold prep, and bakery
• Ensure all food preparation adheres to FOODSAFE and HACCP principles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
• Assist with portion control, food receiving, storage, and rotation
• Adhere to dietary requirements, allergies, and special meal requests
• Support end-of-shift clean-up and sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Line Cook or Cook in a commercial kitchen
• Experience in high-volume food service such as camps, hotels, resorts, or institutional dining
• Valid Food Safety certification
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles and safe food handling
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and production schedules
• Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours as required
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting kitchen supplies
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
